Human Resources Administrator

SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, the Human Resources Administrator provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department. This role enters employee data into the HRIS system, answers calls and emails, and refers calls to appropriate departments.
JOB DUTIES
- Scans and uploads all documentation to the electronic employee records.
- Requests, monitors, and communicates the progress of Background Checks and Drug Screens to managers.
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees and refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level human resources managers.
- Provides requested documents to auditors.
- Ensures all new hire approvals are in place before sending the request to the Talent Acquisition Team.
- Creates and manages Position Management numbers.
- Compiles and emails a report of all employee changes to key stakeholders at the end of each day.
- Enters unemployment benefit data and provides documents in Equifax/CaseBuilder.
- Assists new employees with the Onboarding process within RedCarpet/SilkRoad.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Enters all employee data in the HRIS including new hire data, employee changes, and terminations and transfers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires a college education or an equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Ability to accurately enter data.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skill required, especially Acrobat Adobe, Excel, Word, & Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate verbally and written with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multitask and time management skills required.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Kronos, or RedCarpet/SilkRoad a plus.
- Strong customer service skills.
